I got an email from the Lulu Customer Service department.

“Dear Lonnie,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I was able to trace this defect to the Print-Ready PDF we created for your photo book. This appears to be a bug in our system. I have issued a full refund [...]. I truly apologize for this error on our part.

I have forwarded this issue to our engineering team so that they may find and fix the root cause for this error. Please note that any future orders of this project will have the same result until we can fix the problem that caused this error.

If you would still like to make this project available for sale, or order it again for yourself please make a revision to the project first. I would be happy to check any revision you make to see if this error persists.

Thank you,

Leon T
Lulu Enterprises, Inc”

I’ve asked them if there’s anyway to get these books reprinted in time for the convention at the same price I paid previously. If not, I guess I’ll just get the ones printed for the pre-orders and mail them off when they are ready.

I’m happy they took care of the refund, but it’s still annoying and frustrating.
